Batten & Shaw Completes $7 million Pediatric Intensive Care Unit in Kissimmee, FL

Batten I Shaw Construction recently completed construction on the Osceola Regional Medical Center Pediatric and Intensive Care Unit in Kissimmee Florida. The new facility, located at 700 West Oak Street, now provides hospital based pediatric physicians who specialize in treating acutely ill infants, children, and adolescents. The 15,000-square-foot build-out includes a new six-bed pediatric intensive care unit and eight bed pediatric emergency department. Batten & Shaw worked directly with BLOX Medical Modules to facilitate prefabricated bathrooms, headwalls, footwalls, charting stations and sink walls. The use of prefabricated construction allowed for an tighter construction schedule while maintaining the high levels of quality demanded by Batten & Shaw and our clients.
